Ayumi Kaihori (海堀あゆみ Kaihori Ayumi?, born 4 September 1986) is a Japanese international footballer. A goalkeeper, she currently plays for INAC Kobe Leonessa.[1]. She was also the starting goalkeeper for Japan in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup Final, tallying 5 wins and 1 loss. She helped lead her team to the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup Final against the USA, where she saved penalties by Shannon Boxx and Tobin Heath during the penalty kick shootout and made many other critical saves during regulation.
